Places Visited

  •  Buddha Jayanti Park, set in the lush and verdant environs of the Delhi ridge . Houses a statue of Buddha and a Bodhi tree.
  • Ladakh Buddhist Vihar, by the banks of the Yamuna, houses a beautiful Buddhist temple, as well as a bustling clothes market.
  • Tibetan Colony at Majnu ka Tila  – a recreation of another world, another place in the city of Delhi. Narrow criss-crossing streets , shops selling Tibetan crafts, jewellery, books ; eateries serving authentic Tibetan food, and a small monastery.
