Learn about Sikhism by visiting prominent Sikh temples of Delhi

This walk takes you to some of the main historic Gurudwaras (sikh shrines) of Delhi. In the process we will learn more about Sikhism, its teachings and tenets and the inspiring lives of some of its Gurus. We will listen to shabad kirtan (Sikh devotional hymns), and enjoy karah prasad (a sweet preparation ) and langar, a community offering of food.

  • Sis Ganj Gurudwara, the shrine of Guru Tegh   Bahadur, the 9th Sikh guru, set in idyllic Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi
  • Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the shrine of Guru Har Krishan, the 8th guru of the Sikhs, near Connaught Place
  • Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib
